Position Overview:
We are seeking a Design Head with deep technical expertise in Low Voltage (LV), ELV
systems and Automation Systems, including BMS, FSS, Fire Alarm System, CCTV system,
Access Control, PA, Lighting Control, and Mechanical Fire Protection systems (hydrants,
sprinklers, gas suppression). The candidate will drive design innovation, ensure compliance, and
collaborate across functions to deliver high-performance systems for data canters, smart
buildings, commercial, healthcare, and industrial infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Develop detailed engineering designs for LV, ELV, and automation systems
aligned with client needs, standards, and integration plans.
- Review and prepare detailed system architecture, layout drawings, BOQs, I/O lists,
schematic diagrams, panel drawings, and cable schedules.
- Ensure designs meet client specifications and are in compliance with standards (NFPA,
NBC, IS, IEC standards)
- Prepare technical submittals, design briefs, shop drawings, BOQs, riser diagrams, and
IFC documentation.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical clarifications.
- Support tendering and proposal stage with design inputs and technical compliance.
- Select system components (control panels, field devices, cables, instruments) based on
functionality, OEM specs, and project economics.
- Coordinate across MEP disciplines, OEMs, consultants, and procurement for design
optimization.
- Drive value engineering and optimize system cost without compromising quality.
- Provide technical support during execution, installation, and commissioning.
- Mentor team and CAD designers in best practices, technical documentation, and tool
usage Layouts & schematics, Riser diagrams, Cable schedules, BOQs & technical
documents
- Conduct technical reviews and sign-off on all engineering documents and submittals
before release.
- Lead and manage design engineers and draftsmen, ensuring timely delivery.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, EPLAN, Navisworks, Revit (BIM), Dialux
- Exposure to BMS/HVAC systems, PLC/SCADA, Modbus, BACnet, KNX, DALI, and IoTbased
smart building technologies.

Qualifications:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Preferred: NFPA certification, Fire Protection Certification, LEED/IGBC familiarity,
OEM certification
- Certification in design tools or technologies
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
