Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and banking activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST, billing processes, bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Handle customer invoicing, billing, credit notes, and payment follow-ups.
- Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Experience in billing, bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
