Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and inventory-related transactions. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory, as these platforms are essential for managing our financial and inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Process invoices, payments, credit notes, and expense claims.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
- Reconcile inventory transactions with financial records.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, GST/TDS compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
- Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or e-commerce industries.
- Knowledge of additional ERP/accounting systems.
- Professional certifications such as CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
