Job Title: International Sales Manager – Chemicals Location Mumbai, India About the Role We are seeking an experienced **International Sales Manager** to drive global sales of **solvents, industrial chemicals, oleochemicals, and specialty chemicals** from India. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in **chemical trading**, with proven experience in developing export markets, managing international customers, and sourcing products from Indian manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities * Develop and expand export business across international markets. * Identify and acquire new overseas customers, distributors, and trading partners. * Manage the complete export sales cycle from enquiry to payment realization. * Source products from Indian manufacturers and negotiate competitive commercial terms. * Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and secure profitable business. * Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and documentation teams to ensure timely shipment execution. * Monitor global chemical market trends, pricing, freight, and supply-demand dynamics. * Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and suppliers. * Achieve assigned sales, margin, and business development targets. Products Experience in one or more of the following product categories is essential: * Solvents * Industrial Chemicals * Oleochemicals * Petrochemicals * Specialty Chemicals Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Commerce, or Business Administration. * **5–10 years of experience** in international chemical exports, preferably with a chemical trading company. * Strong knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, international logistics, and trade finance. * Experience in merchant exports and back-to-back trading is preferred. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. * Existing network of international buyers and Indian chemical manufacturers will be an added advantage.
