Job Description: Data Engineer (MS Fabric + Power BI)
Location: Cochin, India (Full-time)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong Power BI expertise and exposure to Microsoft Fabric to build and scale our enterprise data platform. Will be responsible for designing data models, enabling reporting, and laying the foundation for analytics. The ideal candidate will have a hybrid skillset across data engineering and BI development, enabling both backend data preparation and front-end reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop + Service)
- Hands-on experience or exposure to Microsoft Fabric
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying
- Expertise in data modelling (star schema, relationships)
- Experience with data transformation (Power Query, ETL concepts)
BI & Analytics Skills
- Strong data visualization and storytelling ability
- Experience connecting to enterprise data sources (SQL, cloud, APIs)
- Knowledge of data validation and reconciliation techniques
- Advanced Excel (as a data source and for analysis)
- Understanding of finance and supply chain domains
- Familiarity with Azure ecosystem
