Position Title: Apigee Engineer
Job Location: Chennai - India onsite
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience: 3-5 Years
Number of Positions: 03 Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Job Summary:
- Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Apigee Edge / Apigee X.
- Implement API security policies including OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
- Develop reusable API proxies and shared flows. • Troubleshoot API issues and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with backend teams to expose services via APIs.
- Implement API lifecycle management and versioning.
- Ensure API governance, documentation, and best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
Job Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Google Apigee (Edge or X).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and API design principles.
- Experience with API security (OAuth2, JWT, API Gateway policies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, or Java is a plus.
