Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst (Fresher) to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to build a career in business analysis and work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and developers to understand business requirements and deliver effective technology solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and clients to ensure project requirements are clearly understood.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions, client meetings, and project discussions.
- Support the software development lifecycle by clarifying business requirements and resolving functional queries.
- Coordinate with QA teams during testing to validate that business requirements are met.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress and assist in identifying risks and dependencies.
- Stay updated with industry trends, business analysis methodologies, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of software development concepts and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Basic knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to document business requirements clearly and accurately.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Microsoft Visio.
- Understanding of process mapping and workflow documentation.
- Internship or academic project experience in business analysis, software development, or project management is an added advantage.
