We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Database Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in MySQL / PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in understanding complex database structures, developing advanced database programs, and translating business processes into robust data models. This role requires independent ownership and end-to-end responsibility for assigned database deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Analyze and understand underlying table structures, relationships, and data flows.
- Develop, test, and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and views.
- Map business requirements and workflows into efficient database schemas and solutions.
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with application, functional, and business teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and database standards.
- Take full ownership of assigned modules and deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in database development and management.
- Strong hands-on expertise mandatory on MySQL, PostgreSQL .
- Excellent command over MySQL, PostgreSQL and procedural database programming.
- Proven experience in writing complex .
- Deep understanding of relational database design, normalization, and indexing.
- Ability to translate business processes into database structures.
- Experience in handling large datasets and high-volume transactions.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
- Familiarity with version control and deployment practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
