Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Mathematics to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make math engaging and accessible for middle/secondary school students. You will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging mathematics lessons to students in alignment with the school's curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Assessment & Evaluation: Design assignments, quizzes, and examination papers. Evaluate student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Mentorship: Identify students who need extra support and provide remedial help, while also challenging advanced learners.
Technology Integration: Use modern teaching aids, smart boards, and educational software to make abstract math concepts easier to understand.
Parent-Teacher Communication: Conduct regular updates and participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to discuss student progress and behavior.
School Activities: Participate in departmental meetings, professional development workshops, and co-curricular school events.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc. / B.A. Maths) from a recognized university.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is compulsory.
CTET / State TET qualification is highly preferred.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience teaching Mathematics to middle or secondary classes (Grades 6 to 10) in a reputed school. (Freshers with excellent academic records and communication skills may also apply).
Skills:
Strong subject matter expertise in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Arithmetic.
Excellent command over written and spoken English.
Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online teaching tools.
