Job Summary
The Cisco Wireless and Viptela SD-WAN Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level wireless and SD-WAN solutions. \r\nThis role ensures secure, scalable, and high-performing network infrastructure across global environments, leveraging Cisco technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning, identification of EN business opportunities.
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
Design & Architecture
Architect and implement Cisco SD-WAN solutions, including global WAN routing and wireless network designs.
Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, Bill of Materials (BOM), and migration plans.
Define architecture for Cisco Wireless LAN (WLAN) and SD-WAN deployments across manufacturing, R&D, and commercial sites. [Urgent res...pportunity | Outlook]
Skill Requirements
Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Wireless LAN technologies (Cisco or Aruba).\r\nRouting & Switching: VLAN, STP, EtherChannel, MPLS, MP-BGP.\r\nNetwork Security: Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet), VPN, NAC.\r\nData Center Networking: Cisco ACI, Nexus switches.
Other Requirements
Tools: \r\nNetwork monitoring: SolarWinds, ThousandEyes,Zabbix\r\nAutomation: Ansible, Python (preferred for SD-WAN automation).\r\n\r\nCCNP Enterprise (with SD-WAN specialization)\r\nCisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise SD-WAN Implementation (Preferred\r\nCCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (preferred)\r\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)\r\n Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Wireless and ITIL Foundation
