Job Description
Job Overview:
Reporting to the SAP Security Senior Manager, the SAP Security Build Leads will be responsible for SAP security technical delivery on the Digital Core transformation releases and deployments, beginning with release 0.6 and release 1.0. This Security Build Lead will deliver SAP security work including system build, security role build, testing, and deployment activities in SAP S/4HANA and other SAP edge systems. This position will support the program throughout full release lifecycles: initial SAP system security configuration and integration activities, security role design and build, security testing, cutover, and go-live activities. Working closely with Digital Technology and business stakeholders, the Security Build Lead will define access requirements, build functional / team-based access groupings, facilitate security role / permission testing, and support user access management. The Lead will also be responsible for ensuring that security outputs are consistent with the Shared Template, clean core, and other principles and standards of the Digital Core program.
Responsibilities:
- SAP security project experience, including on large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs
- Technical experience in the areas of SAP application security, IT controls, role-based access control (RBAC) strategies, segregation of duties, and SAP user access management processes (user provisioning, user access reviews, user terminations, single sign-on)
- Proficient in security design, configuration, and deployment activities in SAP technologies including SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP GRC, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), and Central Finance.
- Ability to learn new technologies (e.g., BTP applications) and apply RBAC concepts into the design, build, and deployment of these solutions to achieve efficiency and compliance
- Experience in implementing process improvements, technical accelerators, and efficiency tools to deliver work with higher quality and cost effectiveness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to discuss and present security topics tailored to technical and business users
- Flexible work hours to provide adequate overlap and coverage with a portion of US business hours
- Technical SAP security delivery in the SAP S/4HANA and edge systems in scope of the Digital Core program
- Perform technical security activities involved in setting up new SAP systems
- Assist in the technical design of security roles (non-production project team roles and production business and technical user roles)
- Lead security role build, testing, technical cutover and go-live activities for specific systems and/or functional process areas
- Assist the SAP Security Senior Build Leads with planning and incorporating security tasks into timelines, plans, and program status reports
- Document technical security design and configuration, and access procedures
- Participate in service introduction activities to facilitate knowledge transfer of security concepts and procedures to the SAP Security AMS support team
- Ensure security solutions are implemented consistently and aligned with centrally defined standards and requirements tasks for the new S/4HANA model
