DFSICON 2026, the 23rd Annual Conference of the Diabetic Foot Society of India, will be held in Bengaluru from 1–4 October 2026.
Centered around the theme “Digital Footprints in Limb Preservation,” the conference will explore how digital technologies—including artificial intelligence, advanced imaging, data-driven decision-making, and emerging innovations—are transforming diabetic foot care and limb preservation.
Organized in collaboration with ALPS, FIP, and IADFS, DFSICON 2026 will bring together leading clinicians, surgeons, physicians, nurses, researchers, paramedics, academicians, and industry partners through scientific sessions, hands-on workshops, research presentations, and a vibrant exhibition platform.

Role Overview
DFSICON 2026 is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dynamic Executive Secretary to support the planning and execution of one of India's premier medical conferences focused on diabetic foot care and limb preservation.
This role is ideal for both clinicians and non-clinicians who enjoy event management, stakeholder coordination, operations, communication, and problem-solving. Candidates with prior experience in organizing college festivals, conferences, workshops, summits, or large-scale events will be at an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with organizing committee members, faculty, speakers, sponsors, and delegates.
- Manage day-to-day conference secretariat operations and communications.
- Assist in planning scientific sessions, workshops, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Liaise with vendors, venues, sponsors, and service providers.
- Support delegate registration, faculty management, and hospitality arrangements.
- Track timelines, deliverables, and event milestones to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist with marketing, outreach, social media, and promotional activities.
- Handle on-site conference operations before and during the event.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline (clinical or non-clinical background welcome).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal and team coordination skills.
- Prior experience in event management, conference coordination, student leadership, or organizing large-scale events is preferred.
