Position: Company Driver
Reports To : CEO/Operations Manager
Job Location : As assigned by the Company but within different campus of Wellcaza Group ( Cochin/Malappuram & Banglore)
Job Purpose
The Company Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient transportation services for employees, management, guests, students, patients (where applicable), and company materials. The role also includes maintaining company vehicles in excellent operating condition, ensuring compliance with traffic laws, and supporting administrative logistics.
Key ResponsibilitiesTransportation
- Safely transport management, employees, faculty, students, guests, and other authorized personnel as directed.
- Pick up and deliver official documents, parcels, equipment, medicines, laboratory samples, or other company materials when required.
- Ensure timely arrivals and departures according to assigned schedules.
- Plan travel routes efficiently to avoid delays.
Vehicle Maintenance
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before commencing duty.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
- Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, coolant, tyre pressure, battery condition, and other essential vehicle systems.
- Report mechanical faults or damages immediately.
- Coordinate routine servicing, repairs, insurance renewals, pollution certificate renewals, and fitness inspections.
Documentation
- Maintain an accurate vehicle logbook, including mileage, fuel consumption, trip details, and maintenance records.
- Ensure all statutory documents such as Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance, Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate, and Driving Licence remain valid.
- Keep records of fuel expenses, toll receipts, parking charges, and other travel-related expenses.
Safety & Compliance
- Drive responsibly while adhering to all Motor Vehicle Act provisions and traffic regulations.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
- Never operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that impair driving ability.
- Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle breakdowns to the Administration Department.
Administrative Support
- Assist with office errands and logistical support when transportation duties are not assigned.
- Support event logistics, admissions, hospital operations, or institutional activities as directed.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials whenever necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum SSLC/10th Pass.
- Valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) Driving Licence. Additional Heavy Vehicle Licence is desirable.
- Minimum 1 years of professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations/PCC to be submitted after selection process.

Code of Conduct
The Company Driver shall:
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company operations and passenger information.
- Refrain from using mobile phones while driving except through legally permitted hands-free systems.
- Wear the prescribed uniform and identity card while on duty.
- Not permit unauthorized persons to travel in company vehicles.
- Not use company vehicles for personal purposes without prior written approval.
- Immediately report any incident, accident, breakdown, or traffic offence.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
