Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Purchase & Logistics with a strong background in the Interior Design / Construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, vendor development, logistics, inventory, and import/export operations to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of materials for projects. The role requires expertise in sourcing construction and interior materials, supplier negotiations, and supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for interior and construction materials, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Source and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers for materials such as wood, laminates, hardware, furniture, lighting, stone, metal, glass, and other construction products.
- Evaluate vendor performance, maintain supplier relationships, and manage contracts.
- Coordinate with project teams to forecast material requirements and ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Plan and oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations for project materials.
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities across multiple project sites.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project schedules.
- Optimize logistics costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Track shipments and resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- Handle end-to-end import and export documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Monitor shipments and manage customs clearance activities.
Cost Control & Reporting
- Prepare procurement budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Analyze purchasing trends, logistics costs, and supplier performance.
- Generate MIS reports and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in Purchase & Logistics, preferably in the Interior Design or Construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of interior and construction materials procurement.
- Experience in import/export procedures, customs clearance, and shipping documentation.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: ₹56,000.00 - ₹72,000.00 per month
