- Support the end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) process from concept to production.
- Assist in developing new products and implementing engineering changes as per customer and company requirements.
- Prepare and update product drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, and PPAP requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project activities and update project status to the reporting manager.
- Participate in customer requirement analysis and support technical discussions.
- Assist in conducting product trials, validation activities, and prototype development.
- Prepare and maintain APQP documents, PPAP submissions, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and other NPD documentation.
- Support supplier development by coordinating material specifications and component approvals.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product-related issues.
- Assist during production trials, process validation, and new product launch activities.
- Maintain engineering records and ensure document control as per company procedures.
- Continuously identify opportunities for product and process improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in New Product Development (NPD), preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
- Working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of automotive quality standards including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
