Job Summary:
The Learning & Development (L&D) Executive will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, productivity, and overall performance. The role involves managing onboarding programs, conducting training sessions, identifying skill gaps, creating learning paths, and ensuring continuous employee development across the organization.
Key Responsibilities1. Training Design & DevelopmentTraining Module Creation
- Design and develop training modules, SOPs, presentations, handbooks, and learning materials.
- Create role-specific training content for various departments.
- Update training content regularly to align with business requirements and industry standards.
- Develop assessment tools, quizzes, and certification programs to measure learning effectiveness.
Learning Path Definition
- Design structured learning paths for different roles and career levels.
- Establish competency frameworks and development roadmaps.
- Define learning milestones and progression criteria for employees.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify required competencies and growth opportunities.
Skill Gap Analysis
- Conduct training needs assessments through performance reviews, feedback, and business requirements.
- Identify individual and team skill gaps.
- Recommend suitable learning interventions and development plans.
- Track competency improvements and training effectiveness.
2. Training Delivery & Employee DevelopmentOnboarding Training
- Conduct induction and onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Familiarize employees with company policies, culture, processes, and systems.
- Coordinate onboarding schedules and training calendars.
- Ensure smooth integration of new employees into their respective teams.
Training Conduct
- Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions.
- Deliver behavioral, functional, process, and soft-skills training programs.
- Ensure active participation and engagement during training sessions.
- Maintain training attendance and completion records.
Refresher Training Programs
- Organize periodic refresher training sessions to reinforce key skills and processes.
- Conduct retraining sessions based on performance trends and quality audits.
- Ensure employees remain updated on process changes and organizational updates.
- Measure retention and application of training content.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Continuous ImprovementMonitoring & Evaluation
- Assess training effectiveness through tests, assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Monitor employee learning progress and training completion rates.
- Prepare training reports, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Track post-training performance improvements and business impact.
Performance Improvement Support
- Work closely with managers to address performance-related training needs.
- Recommend coaching and development interventions.
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure continuous learning culture across the organization.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain training records, attendance sheets, certifications, and learning databases.
- Generate monthly and quarterly training reports.
- Ensure compliance with organizational learning and development standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Certification in Learning & Development, Training, Instructional Design, or related area is preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or a similar role.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
- Prior experience in onboarding, skill gap analysis, and performance-based training interventions preferred.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
