Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boilers, steam generation systems, and associated equipment.
- Maintain required boiler pressure, temperature, water level, and steam parameters.
- Conduct regular inspection of boiler, burners, pumps, valves, gauges, safety devices, and auxiliary systems.
- Perform boiler start-up, shutdown, changeover, and emergency operations as per approved procedures.
- Monitor fuel consumption and optimize boiler efficiency.
- Maintain proper boiler water chemistry and coordinate with the water treatment team.
- Conduct routine blowdown and ensure proper boiler water-level management.
- Check and maintain feed-water pumps, deaerators, economizers, air pre-heaters, and other boiler auxiliaries.
- Ensure safety valves, pressure gauges, water-level indicators, alarms, and interlocks are functioning properly.
- Maintain boiler logbooks, operating records, shift reports, and statutory records.
- Identify abnormal operating conditions and take immediate corrective action.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Boiler Safety Regulations, statutory requirements, and company procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping around the boiler house and utility area.
- Follow all EHS, fire safety, PPE, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Support statutory boiler inspections and maintain required documentation.
- Train and guide junior boiler operators/helpers when required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
