JOB DESCRIPTION — MEDICAL CENTRE MANAGER

Role Summary
The Medical Centre Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day administration, clinical coordination and operational performance of BM Elite International Clinic. The role requires strong leadership, excellent patient-handling skills and the ability to coordinate doctors, clinical teams, front office, sales, marketing, diagnostics and support departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Centre Operations
- Manage the complete daily functioning of the clinic.
- Ensure all departments open and operate according to schedule.
- Coordinate doctor availability, appointments, procedures and treatment schedules.
- Monitor patient flow and minimise waiting time.
- Ensure treatment rooms, procedure rooms and patient areas are ready and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with pharmacy, diagnostics, laboratory and external service providers where applicable.
- Patient Experience
- Maintain a professional, ethical and patient-friendly environment.
- Ensure patients receive proper guidance from enquiry through consultation, treatment and follow-up.
- Resolve patient concerns, service complaints and operational issues promptly.
- Monitor patient feedback and implement service improvements.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication standards.
- Team Management
- Supervise front-office executives, patient coordinators, nurses, technicians, housekeeping and administrative staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance, punctuality, leave and discipline.
- Conduct daily team briefings and periodic performance reviews.
- Identify training requirements and coordinate staff development.
- Ensure proper coordination between doctors, clinical staff, counsellors and administrative teams.
- Revenue and Performance Monitoring
- Monitor consultations, procedures, treatments, pharmacy sales and other centre revenue.
- Review daily collections, billing, discounts, outstanding payments and cancellations.
- Work with the Sales Manager to improve enquiry conversion and patient retention.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
- Monitor departmental targets, expenses, utilisation and operational efficiency.
- Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure the clinic follows applicable healthcare, biomedical waste, fire safety and statutory requirements.
- Maintain licences, registers, agreements, consent forms and operational records.
- Ensure adherence to clinical SOPs, hygiene standards and infection-control protocols.
- Coordinate internal audits and corrective actions.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee and business information.
- Inventory and Facility Management
- Monitor stocks of medicines, consumables, implants, equipment and housekeeping materials.
- Prevent stock-outs, expiry-related losses and unauthorised usage.
- Coordinate procurement and vendor management.
- Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of medical equipment.
- Supervise security, housekeeping, utilities and general facility maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital, clinic or medical-centre operations.
- Prior experience managing a multi-speciality, cosmetic, fertility, dental, wellness or surgical centre is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital software, billing systems, MIS reporting and healthcare compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle patients and sensitive situations with maturity and discretion.
Preferred Profile
A disciplined and patient-focused healthcare administrator who can take ownership of the centre, lead teams, improve operational efficiency and maintain the premium service standards of BM Elite International Clinic.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
