We are looking for an enthusiastic, result-oriented, and highly motivated Export Sales Executive to strengthen our international sales team and expand our global customer network.
Job Summary
The Export Sales Executive will be responsible for generating international sales, identifying new overseas business opportunities, developing relationships with global buyers, preparing export quotations, handling customer communications, and coordinating export operations from inquiry to shipment.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a sound understanding of export documentation and international trade procedures.
Key Responsibilities: International Business Development
- Identify and develop new international business opportunities.
- Generate export leads through B2B portals, LinkedIn, online research, trade directories, exhibitions, and referrals.
- Develop new overseas customers and distributors.
- Research global markets to identify potential buyers and emerging business opportunities.
- Maintain a strong database of international customers and prospects.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly export sales targets.
International Client Management
- Communicate professionally with overseas customers through email, phone calls, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable steel products.
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with international clients.
- Prepare product presentations, quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Resolve customer queries regarding products, pricing, shipment schedules, and documentation.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely communication and support.
Export Sales & Documentation
- Prepare Export Quotations, Proforma Invoices (PI), Commercial Invoices, and Sales Contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Coordinate with logistics partners, CHA, freight forwarders, and internal departments for smooth shipment execution.
- Ensure timely preparation and verification of export documentation.
- Follow up with customers regarding payments, shipment updates, and repeat orders.
- Maintain complete documentation in accordance with export regulations.
Sales Coordination & CRM
- Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, logistics, and finance departments.
- Maintain customer information, inquiries, quotations, and follow-up activities in CRM software.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales Reports.
- Monitor sales pipeline and conversion ratios.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve export sales performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Export Sales, International Business Development, or B2B International Sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of export documentation and international trade procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple international clients.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international B2B buyers.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, Letters of Credit (LC), TT Payments, and international payment methods.
- Familiarity with international logistics, freight forwarding, and shipping documentation.
- Hands-on experience with IndiaMART, Alibaba, TradeIndia, Global Sources, Made-in-China, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other B2B sourcing platforms.
- Experience in the steel, metals, engineering, or industrial products sector will be preferred.
