Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor STP / ETP systems (SBR, MBBR, ASP etc.).
- Maintain process parameters such as pH, DO, MLSS, TSS, COD, BOD.
- Chemical dosing and sludge handling.
- Operation of pumps, blowers, agitators, filter press.
- Record keeping of daily log sheets and lab reports.
- Troubleshooting minor mechanical/electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms.
- Coordinate with maintenance and project team.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of biological & chemical treatment processes.
- Understanding of SBR cycle and ETP treatment stages.
- Basic laboratory testing knowledge.
- Responsible, disciplined and able to work in shifts.
Qualification:
- 12TH/ITI (Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental)
- Minimum 2 years experience in STP / ETP plant operation
