We are looking for an Executive Sales & Procurement who will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by managing the tender submissions on e-portals. Your responsibilities will include reading and analyzing tender documents, identifying client requirements, sourcing and negotiating with vendors/suppliers, and preparing compelling proposals to achieve sales targets. In this position, he or she will be responsible for Location: Delhi / Pune/ Vizag Responsibilities:
1. Thoroughly review tender documents to understand client requirements and specifications.
2. Clarify and resolve any ambiguities with the client or issuing authority to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the requirements.
3. Conduct market research to identify potential vendors/suppliers for the required products or services.
4. Request and evaluate quotes from vendors/suppliers, negotiating the best possible terms and prices.
5. Select vendors/suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery capabilities.
6. Develop detailed and competitive proposals.
7. Ensure that the proposal is well-structured, persuasive, and submitted within the deadline.
8. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the logistics of product delivery, including shipping, customs, and other regulatory compliances.
9. Ensure all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
10. Monitor the progress of deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
11. Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients throughout the tender process.
12. Address any post-delivery issues or concerns, ensuring client satisfaction.
13. Follow up on payments with clients after delivery, ensuring timely receipt.
14. Maintain detailed records of tender submissions, vendor agreements, delivery schedules, and payment statuses.
15. Prepare regular reports on tender activities, sales performance, and logistical operations for management review.
16. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in tendering processes.
17. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Bachelor’s degree in any stream. 2. 1-5 years Proven experience in tendering, sales, procurement, or logistics is required. 3. Strong analytical skills to interpret client requirements and vendor offers. 4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. 6. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-portal systems. 7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 8. Knowledge of logistics and compliance requirements. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
