Job Summary
Mahavir Skoda is looking for an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our automobile showroom and workshop operations. The role will involve handling payments, receipts, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating with various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day payments and receipts.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately.
- Verify and process invoices, bills, receipts, and payment documents.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and maintain proper records.
- Coordinate with the showroom, workshop, sales, and service teams for accounting-related transactions.
- Maintain records related to customer payments and vendor payments.
- Assist in tracking and reconciling customer and vendor accounts.
- Ensure timely recording of transactions related to vehicle sales, service, spare parts, and other dealership operations.
- Handle accounting documentation and maintain proper records.
- Assist with routine accounting and reporting activities.
- Support the accounts team in resolving discrepancies and reconciliation-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance.
- Experience in an automobile dealership, showroom, workshop, or similar industry will be preferred.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with showroom, workshop, sales, service, and accounts teams.
Compensation
₹16,500 – ₹22,000 per month (₹2.16 LPA – ₹2.64 LPA)
