. Key Responsibilities
- Layout & Measurement: Study blueprints or sketches to calculate dimensions, lay out project guidelines, and determine material requirements.
- Framing & Installation: Construct and install foundational frameworks, including walls, roofs, floors, doorframes, and staircases.
- Finishing Work: Fit and install interior and exterior trim, cabinets, molding, windows, and doors.
- Repair & Maintenance: Inspect, remove, and replace damaged structures or fixtures using hand tools, power saws, and sanders.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment, erect scaffolding safely, and ensure all work meets local building regulations and health codes.
Core Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of woodworking techniques and the safe operation of power tools (e.g., nail guns, circular saws) and hand tools (e.g., levels, chisels).
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical documents, architectural drawings, and structural specifications.
- Mathematical Accuracy: Strong skills in calculating angles, dimensions, and material quantities.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb ladders, and lift heavy materials.
Education & Experience
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is standard.
- Training: Completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job journey-level experience (typically 3 to 4 years).
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
