Qualification
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid State Medical Council/NMC Registration (Mandatory).
- ACLS/BLS Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of post-MBBS experience in a reputed hospital.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in ICU/Critical Care preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide round-the-clock medical care to critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
- Perform initial assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and management of critically ill patients.
- Monitor patients' clinical status and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Carry out ICU procedures as per competency, including central venous line insertion, arterial line placement, intubation assistance, ABG sampling, and other bedside procedures.
- Manage ventilated patients under the guidance of Critical Care Consultants.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, ABG reports, ECGs, and radiological findings.
- Ensure timely documentation of patient assessment, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate effectively with Consultants, Nursing staff, Respiratory Therapists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Attend medical emergencies, Code Blue, and rapid response calls as assigned.
- Counsel patients' attendants regarding the patient's condition and treatment plans under consultant supervision.
- Adhere to NABH standards, infection control protocols, patient safety guidelines, and hospital policies.
- Participate in CMEs, academic sessions, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Sound knowledge of Critical Care medicine and emergency management.
- Good clinical judgment and decision-making ability.
- Basic ventilator management skills.
- Knowledge of ACLS, BLS, and emergency resuscitation protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights and holidays.
- Team-oriented with a patient-centric approach.
Salary
₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and competency).
Joining
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
