Job Purpose
The Manager – Human Resources, Training & Sales Development is responsible for building, developing, and managing the company's human capital. The role focuses on recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, organizational development, and creating a highly skilled, disciplined, and motivated workforce.
A major responsibility of this role is to continuously develop the sales organization through structured training, coaching, field support, performance monitoring, and leadership development to help achieve the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Prepare manpower plans in coordination with department heads.
- Recruit employees for Sales, Production, Accounts, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch, Quality Control, and Administration.
- Publish job advertisements on LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, social media, and other recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate final interviews with management.
- Conduct reference checks and salary negotiations.
- Ensure timely hiring of quality candidates.
2. Employee Onboarding
- Complete joining formalities.
- Prepare appointment letters and employee documentation.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs.
- Introduce new employees to company culture, policies, products, and departments.
- Ensure smooth integration of new employees.
3. Learning & Development
Develop and implement annual training calendars.
Conduct and coordinate training programs on:
- Product Knowledge
- Sales Techniques
- Dealer Development
- Painter Loyalty Programs
- Customer Relationship Management
- Negotiation Skills
- Collection & Recovery Process

Maintain individual training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
4. Sales Team Development
Develop a high-performing sales organization through continuous coaching and monitoring.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular classroom and field training.
- Accompany Sales Officers and Area Sales Managers on market visits.
- Observe dealer interactions and provide coaching.
- Conduct role-play sessions for objection handling and negotiation.
- Improve presentation and communication skills.
- Develop monthly learning modules.
- Ensure proper implementation of sales processes.
5. Sales Performance Management
Monitor and improve sales team productivity by tracking:
- Sales Achievement
- Collection Efficiency
- New Dealer Development
- Painter Registration

- Customer Complaints

Prepare weekly and monthly performance scorecards.

6. Employee Performance Management
Design and implement KPI-based performance evaluation systems.

Coordinate with department heads to ensure employee accountability.
7. HR Operations
Maintain complete employee records.

- Full & Final Settlement Coordination

Ensure company-wide implementation.
10. Sales Administration
Monitor daily sales activities through:

Coordinate with Sales Coordinators and management to ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications
- MBA in Human Resources (Preferred)
- MBA in HR & Marketing
- BBA/MBA with relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree with significant HR and Training experience
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Minimum 3 years in Recruitment and Training.
- Experience in Paints, Building Materials, FMCG, Cement, Chemicals, Hardware, or Construction Products is preferred.
- Experience managing sales training and field sales teams is highly desirable.
