About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative and trend-aware Senior Video Editor who can create
premium, high-retention content for founders, influencers, podcasts, and personal brands.
The ideal candidate should deeply understand the modern creator economy and be capable of
producing edits similar to:
- Indian Parents Podcast
- Arjun Vaidya (VC/Founder Style Content)
- Prashant Desai (Health Influencer Content)
We want someone who understands:
- Fast-paced storytelling
- Retention-focused editing
- Viral hooks
- Motion graphics
- Clean subtitles
- Founder/podcast aesthetics
- High-performing Instagram & YouTube content
This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital storytelling and social-first content
creation.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post Production
o Instagram Reels
o YouTube Shorts
o Founder-led content
o Podcasts & Interviews
o Educational & Health content
o Performance marketing creatives
o Personal branding videos
- Create edits inspired by modern creator-led formats with:
o Dynamic pacing
o Motion graphics
o Zoom cuts
o Hook-based intros
o Animated captions
o Sound design
o Meme inserts/B-roll storytelling
Creative Direction Support
- Work closely with founders, creators, and strategists to conceptualize engaging
content.
- Suggest trending editing styles and storytelling approaches.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form assets.
Platform Optimization
- Understand content optimization for:
o Instagram
o YouTube
o LinkedIn
o Meta Ads
o Viewer retention
o Watch time
o Shareability
o Virality
Team & Workflow Management
- Manage timelines and delivery schedules.
- Organize footage and maintain editing workflows.
- Guide junior editors where required.
- Ensure quality control before delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Photoshop
- DaVinci Resolve (preferred)
- Audio cleanup & sound design tools
Must be skilled in:
- Motion graphics
- Color grading
- Cinematic pacing
- Subtitle animation
- AI-assisted editing tools
- Multi-camera podcast editing
Experience
- 3–5 years of professional editing experience.
- Experience working with:
o Influencers
o Founders
o Podcasts
o D2C brands
o Health/educational creators
o Agencies or creator-led brands
