Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced STP & ETP Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in plant operations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and maintaining treated water quality as per statutory norms.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor STP/ETP systems to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
- Check and record daily operating parameters such as pH, flow, DO, ORP, MLSS, sludge level, pressure, and chemical dosing.
- Perform routine maintenance of pumps, blowers, agitators, valves, filters, and other mechanical equipment.
- Prepare and maintain daily logbooks, operation reports, and maintenance records.
- Carry out backwashing, sludge handling, filter media cleaning, and chemical preparation as required.
- Ensure treated water quality complies with Pollution Control Board (PCB) norms.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely rectification.
- Handle chemicals safely and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of the treatment plant.
- Assist during inspections, audits, and sampling by regulatory authorities.
- Eligibility
- ITI/Diploma/Any Technical Qualification (Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operating STP and/or ETP plants.
- Knowledge of biological and physico-chemical treatment processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot common operational problems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with MBBR, MBR, SBR, ASP, UF, RO, or tertiary treatment systems.
- Knowledge of online monitoring systems.
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and MS Word).

- Salary will be based on experience and interview performance.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
