Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled Injection Moulding Operator to operate and monitor injection moulding machines, ensure smooth production, maintain product quality, and achieve daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate injection moulding machines safely and efficiently.
- Start, stop, and monitor machines as per standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload moulds, raw materials, and components as required.
- Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, injection speed, cycle time, and cooling time.
- Ensure proper mould setting and machine operation.
- Inspect moulded components for defects such as short moulding, flash, burn marks, sink marks, warpage, black spots, and dimensional variation.
- Perform visual and basic dimensional inspection of finished components.
- Maintain production quantity and quality as per daily targets.
- Identify machine, mould, and process-related problems and inform the Supervisor/Engineer.
- Carry out minor adjustments to process parameters under authorized instructions.
- Maintain proper housekeeping around the machine and production area.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and work instructions.
- Record production, rejection, downtime, and other required data.
- Segregate rejected parts and ensure proper identification of OK and rejected components.
- Assist in mould changeover, material changeover, and machine setup.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure machines, moulds, and work areas are kept clean and in proper working condition.
Required Skills
- ITI / Diploma / 10th or 12th pass preferred.
- Experience in Injection Moulding Machine operation preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plastic materials and injection moulding processes.
- Knowledge of common moulding defects and their causes.
- Ability to understand basic machine parameters and production instructions.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Good discipline and attention to quality and safety.
Preferred Experience
Experience with machines such as:
- Servo / Hydraulic Injection Moulding Machines
- Fully automatic and semi-automatic machines
- Horizontal injection moulding machines
- Experience with materials such as PP, ABS, Nylon, PC, POM, HDPE, and other engineering plastics will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
