We are seeking a motivated and technically versatile System Administrator with 2-4 years of hands-on experience to support Windows, Linux, and macOS environments. The ideal candidate will excel in system maintenance, helpdesk operations, network fundamentals, Active Directory, and have foundational knowledge of Office 365 and Azure. The role requires an effective communication and convincing skills, document processes clearly and adapt to changing priorities.
Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints.
Perform routine system maintenance tasks: patching, backups, monitoring, antivirus/EDR, disk space management, and security hardening.
Provide Level 1-2 helpdesk support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and track requests through the ticketing system.
Administration of Active Directory including user provisioning/deprovisioning, group policies, password resets, and access management.
Basic Office 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Groups, licensing) and foundational Azure knowledge (Azure AD, VM provisioning, basic IaaS/PaaS concepts).
Manage and support network and services: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing basics, and firewall rules as needed.
Maintain documentation: build and update runbooks, standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and change logs.
Collaborate with IT team on project implementations, deployments, and incident response.
Assist with asset management: inventory, lifecycle, and software license compliance.
Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours support as required.
In case of emergency and outage must be ready to stretch shift, swap shift with other teammates, work on weekends and public holidays.
Required Technical Qualifications
2-4 years of relevant IT experience in systems administration or IT support.
Strong familiarity with Windows (clients/workstations), Linux (Ubuntu), and macOS.
Experience with system maintenance tasks: patching, backups, monitoring, and security baseline configurations.
Solid understanding of Helpdesk operations, ticketing systems, and customer service skills.
Basic Networking knowledge: IP addressing, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall concepts.
Experience with Active Directory (user/computer accounts, GPOs, OU structure, permissions).
Basic Office 365 administration and Azure knowledge (Azure AD, licenses, basic VM/IAAS concepts).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to create clear documentation and runbooks.
Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to work independently and within a team; good time management and prioritization.
Preferred Qualification
Candidate must have Diploma or Graduate Degree
Certifications in IT infra and cloud computing such as CompTIA ITF+/A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, or similar. (Not Necessary)
Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and basic infrastructure as code concepts.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and cloud concepts.
Knowledge of security best practices, auditing, and compliance basics.
