About the Role
OLIV Academy is looking for enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated interns to join our Business Development and School Outreach team.
As a Marketing & School Outreach Intern, you will represent OLIV Academy and help us build partnerships with schools across Kolkata and nearby regions. Your primary responsibility will be connecting with school authorities, presenting our STEAM Lab solutions and curriculum offerings, and helping convert interested schools into long-term partners.
This is primarily a work-from-home role with flexible working hours. However, candidates should be willing to occasionally visit schools for meetings, presentations, and follow-ups whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact schools through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
- Identify and connect with principals, directors, coordinators, and school management.
- Schedule meetings and presentations.
- Visit school campuses whenever required.
- Professionally present OLIV Academy's STEAM Lab solutions, curriculum, and educational services.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective schools.
- Follow up with leads and coordinate with the internal team throughout the partnership process.
- Maintain records of leads, meetings, and progress.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are confident speaking with professionals and institutional decision-makers.
- Are self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Are willing to travel occasionally within Kolkata for meetings.
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate students.
- Recent graduates.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development is a plus but is not mandatory.

Compensation & Growth Opportunity
This internship is performance and incentive-based.
Once you successfully secure your first school partnership during the internship:
- You will immediately begin receiving a monthly stipend of ₹5,000.
- You will also receive a travel allowance/reimbursement for official school visits.
As you continue closing additional partnerships, your monthly stipend and travel allowance will be reviewed and increased based on your performance and the value of the partnerships you help secure.
Your efforts directly contribute to your long-term growth within OLIV Academy.
Pre-Placement Offer (PPO)
Interns who successfully secure five (5) or more school partnerships during the internship will be eligible for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO).
- Graduates may receive an immediate full-time employment offer.
- Students who are still pursuing their degree may continue their internship and receive a confirmed job offer upon graduation.
The compensation offered for the full-time role will also reflect your performance during the internship, ensuring that every successful partnership you build contributes to your future career with OLIV Academy.
