Senior Business Development Manager – Enterprise Sales (New Logo Acquisition)
Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Business Development Manager with a strong focus on enterprise hunting and new logo acquisition. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and opening new enterprise accounts, generating qualified opportunities, and driving sustainable pipeline growth through strategic outbound sales efforts.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in enterprise B2B sales, exceptional prospecting skills, and the ability to mentor and elevate the performance of the Business Development team. This is a pure hunting role focused on creating opportunities and expanding market presence.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development
- Identify, target, and acquire new enterprise customers through proactive outbound prospecting.
- Develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns across multiple channels.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Lead discovery meetings to understand client challenges, business objectives, and requirements.
- Qualify opportunities effectively and ensure smooth handover to the sales or delivery teams.
Pipeline Generation
- Maintain a robust and predictable pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities.
- Consistently meet and exceed pipeline generation and new business targets.
- Track, manage, and report prospecting activities and outcomes through CRM systems.
Team Mentorship & Enablement
- Coach and mentor Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) on best practices in outbound selling.
- Provide guidance on leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, email outreach, networking forums, and other prospecting channels.
- Share effective techniques for account targeting, messaging, discovery, and qualification.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless opportunity transition.
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support growth initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of outbound sales processes and strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in Enterprise B2B Business Development or Sales.
- Demonstrated success in new logo acquisition and enterprise hunting roles.
- Strong expertise in outbound prospecting, stakeholder engagement, and solution selling.
- Exceptional discovery, qualification, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading Business Development teams.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales channels and platforms, including LinkedIn, Upwork, email campaigns, and networking events.
- Proven ability to build and manage a healthy enterprise sales pipeline.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

- Strategic account targeting and market research.
- Consultative selling and value-based engagement.
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent).
- Strong presentation and executive-level communication skills.
- Ability to influence and engage C-level stakeholders.
