About the Role
Inventant Education is looking for a skilled DTP Operator with strong knowledge of Mathematics, Hindi, and English to support the designing and formatting of school books and educational content. The ideal candidate should be proficient in DTP tools and capable of handling subject-based layouts with accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and format school books, worksheets, question papers, and academic materials in Maths, Hindi, and English.
- Ensure layout accuracy, alignment, spacing, and quality consistency across all pages.
- Work closely with editors, designers, and content teams to finalize book designs.
- Prepare clean, error-free print-ready files as per printing and production standards.
- Make corrections, revisions, and updates to files as instructed by the editorial team.
- Maintain organized file structures and follow version-control practices.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks while meeting quality expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a DTP Operator (school books domain preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Maths, Hindi, and English content formatting.
- Proficiency in DTP and design software such as:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- CorelDRAW
- Photoshop
- Ability to handle complex Maths equations, Hindi typing (Unicode), and English formatting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in school book publishing or educational content design.
- Good understanding of font usage, page layout, and printing guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with editorial and production teams.
