Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reconciliations, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Maintain fixed asset and expense records.
- Prepare GST/TDS-related data and assist with statutory compliance (as applicable).
- Assist in payroll processing and reimbursement management.
- Organize and maintain financial documents and records.
- Generate financial reports and assist senior accountants with analysis.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Zoho Books, or similar is preferred.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation concepts.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
