About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts & Finance professional to manage financial accounting, statutory compliance, GST reconciliation, inventory accounting, audits, and MIS reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess strong accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS, and support timely closure of accounts.
Perform ledger scrutiny, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Ensure accurate booking of expenses and proper accounting classifications.
Handle GST reconciliation (GSTR-2B), support GST return preparation, and resolve reconciliation mismatches.
Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and process capitalization of capital expenditure.
Conduct inventory reconciliation and support physical stock verification at manufacturing plants.
Verify accounting vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents before processing.
Prepare plant-wise cost analysis and assist management in monitoring operational costs.
Support compliance related to EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) and other statutory requirements.
Prepare documentation for government subsidies, incentives, and regulatory submissions.
Coordinate effectively with Purchase, Stores, Production, Plant Operations, and Corporate Finance teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
B.Com (Mandatory)
MBA (Finance) / CA Inter (Preferred) / CMA
Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
Experience in a manufacturing industry is mandatory.
Exposure to plant accounting, inventory accounting, and statutory compliance will be an added advantage.
