Role:
We’re looking for a candidate who is aligned with the organization’s aspiration of creating a mental health infrastructure in the country, for the underserved. Please note:
- This is a full-time role. The candidate will lead the Helpline team.
- The candidate is expected to work 5.5 days a week, 9 hours a day with an hour’s break in accordance with a shift-rotation system (weekly offs rotating every quarter- 2 quarters with weekly offs on the weekend and 2 quarters with weekly off during the week).
- Selected candidates will have to undergo training to update themselves with the protocols followed at Mann Talks, before they start supervising the team.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and mentoring a team of junior and senior counsellors.
- Providing counselling over calls/emails/video or in-person when required.
- Overseeing operations and management of service delivery on the Helpline and email counselling service.
- Assisting in creating new counselling protocols and updating existing ones.
- Analysing data and creating reports for the Founder.
- Actively participating in outreach to expand the Helpline reach.
- Coordinating with partner or vendor agencies, as and when required from time to time.
Desirous Candidates Must:
- Possess a relevant degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology (or similar Masters programs).
- Have relevant post-qualification experience of minimum 6 years.
- Incorporate rights based, intersectional and trauma informed approaches in counselling.
- Have experience in project management and leading a team.
- Have good communication skills.
- Speak in English and Hindifluently and possess good writing skills in English.
- Be skilled in the use of computers for the purpose of documentation, data analysis and written modes of counselling. Be comfortable with dealing with large volumes of data.
- Be willing to commit for a duration of at least a year.
- Be willing to work in a physical office space.

The position is for the initial period of one year and will be extended depending on performance. Salary shall be commensurate with candidate skills and experience, in line with industry standards.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
