Video Editor (Political Campaigns) – 2+ Years Experience

Hyperion Digital is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating engaging video content for digital platforms and have the ability to craft compelling visual narratives for political campaigns and public communication initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of political communication and can transform campaign messages into impactful video content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media, digital campaigns, advertisements, events, and public outreach initiatives.
- Create short-form and long-form content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X.
- Develop campaign videos, promotional films, reels, motion graphics, testimonials, and event highlights.
- Collaborate with content writers, graphic designers, social media managers, and campaign teams to execute communication strategies.
- Add graphics, subtitles, animations, transitions, and sound effects to enhance video quality and engagement.
- Ensure timely delivery of content while maintaining high production standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Video Editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Experience editing content optimized for social media platforms.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and creative work.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Punjabi language proficiency (understanding and comprehension) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Punjab's cultural and political landscape.
- Ability to create content tailored to Punjabi-speaking audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working on political campaigns, election campaigns, public affairs projects, advocacy initiatives, or political communication.
- Experience editing speeches, rallies, interviews, public messages, and campaign-related content.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and audience engagement strategies.
