Experience: 2–7 Years (Freshers with relevant fashion/apparel education can also apply)
Qualification: Bachelor's/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Merchandising, Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or related field.
Job Responsibilities
- Source garments from manufacturers, factories, and wholesalers in Tiruppur.
- Visit manufacturing units to identify new products and suppliers.
- Coordinate with manufacturers for product development and sampling.
- Follow up on sample production, approvals, and bulk orders.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
- Ensure products meet buyer specifications and company quality requirements.
- Collect product details such as fabric composition, GSM, sizes, colors, wash care, and packaging information.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new manufacturers.
- Track production status and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare sourcing reports and provide regular updates to the management team.
- Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, fabrics, and market developments.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of garments, fabrics, trims, and apparel manufacturing processes.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple manufacturers and suppliers.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Willingness to travel within Tiruppur for factory visits.
Preferred Candidates
- Candidates with experience in garment sourcing or merchandising.
- Freshers with Fashion Technology or Apparel-related qualifications are encouraged to apply.
