Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fashion Merchandiser, based in Bengaluru. A Fashion Merchandiser is responsible for analyzing fashion trends, consumer demand, and sales data to curate product assortments, plan displays, and drive profitability. They act as the bridge between design, production, and retail. Also oversee product planning and inventory management to ensure the seamless alignment of supply and demand. Responsibilities include collaborating with design and production teams to curate collections, analyzing sales trends to optimize stock levels, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Additionally, the role involves representing the Ecolore brand by developing compelling displays and strategies that highlight our commitment to sustainable fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
Trend & Market Analysis
- Evaluate fashion trends, consumer preferences, and buying patterns.
- Forecast future fashion trends and seasonal demands.
Product Selection & Buying
- Choose garments, accessories, and footwear for retail collections.
- Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and buyers for pricing and contracts.
Visual Merchandising
- Design and implement store layouts and window displays.
- Create monthly visual merchandising strategies across locations.
Inventory & Sales Management
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and track product performance.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align merchandising with revenue goals.
Supplier & Designer Collaboration
- Work closely with designers to ensure collections meet market needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.
Marketing & Promotion
- Partner with marketing teams for campaigns and promotions.
- Attend fashion shows, trade fairs, and seminars to stay updated.
Customer Engagement
- Gather feedback from customers and sales reports.
- Ensure product lines meet customer expectations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Marketing, or Business.
- Experience: Proven track record in merchandising or visual merchandising.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and inventory management tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Creative Edge: Ability to design eye-catching displays and interpret fashion forecasts.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
