Clinical Responsibilities
- Examine and assess patients in OPD, IPD, Emergency & ICU as per duty allocation.
- Provide initial medical management and stabilize emergency cases.
- Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, and surgeries.
- Monitor patient vitals and progress; update treatment as per consultant advice.
- Handle code blue / medical emergencies promptly.Emergency & Casualty Duties
- Attend all emergency admissions immediately.
- Perform basic life support (BLS) and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate with ambulance staff and emergency team.
- Ensure proper triage and timely referral if required.
- Maintain accurate case sheets, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Ensure proper documentation for medico-legal cases (MLC).
- Update nursing staff with clear treatment orders.
- Follow NABH / hospital protocol documentation standards.
