Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems associated with foundry production equipment. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted plant operations while adhering to all electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of foundry machines and equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in induction furnaces, sand plants, shot blasting machines, compressors, conveyors, EOT cranes, and other production equipment.
- Maintain electrical panels, MCCs, PCCs, motors, VFDs, PLC systems, transformers, and control circuits.
- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and machinery.
- Carry out cable laying, wiring, termination, and panel maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime by responding promptly to electrical breakdowns.
- Maintain maintenance records, daily reports, and spare parts usage.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and PPE requirements.
- Coordinate with the mechanical maintenance and production teams for timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and statutory regulations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, MCC panels, control panels, motors, and transformers.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults in heavy industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation resistance testers.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Foundry, Steel, Casting, Rolling Mill, Cement, or Heavy Engineering industries.
- Experience working with induction furnaces, EOT cranes, compressors, hydraulic systems, and dust collection systems will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹29,339.02 per month
