Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the company's accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain statutory compliance, and support financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, audits, and ERP/accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee the general ledger, journal entries, and accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly and year-end accounts.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in compliance with applicable laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants during audits.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare MIS reports for management.
- Verify and approve invoices, expense claims, and payment vouchers.
- Reconcile vendor, customer, and inter-company accounts.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Support payroll accounting and statutory compliance.
- Identify process improvements and implement financial controls.
- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- M.Com/MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in accounting and finance
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally, Busy, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹8,275.37 - ₹41,606.18 per month
