Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Team Leader – Business Development to lead and motivate our admissions and counseling team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving team performance, achieving admission targets, mentoring Business Development Associates/Student Counselors, and ensuring an excellent experience for prospective students throughout the admission process.
Candidates with prior experience in education, admissions, telesales, business development, or team management are preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Associates/Student Counselors to achieve individual and team admission targets.
Monitor daily team performance, productivity, and conversion rates.
Conduct regular coaching sessions, training, and performance reviews to improve team effectiveness.
Ensure timely follow-up on student inquiries and maximize lead conversion.
Guide team members in counseling prospective students and parents regarding courses, admissions, and career opportunities.
Develop strategies to improve admissions, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Maintain accurate records of team performance, student interactions, and CRM updates.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth admission and enrollment process.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management.
Resolve escalated student or parent concerns professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, admission procedures, and quality standards.
Foster a positive, target-driven, and collaborative team environment.
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in business development, student counseling, admissions, telesales, or customer relationship management.
Prior experience in leading or supervising a team is preferred.
Experience in the education industry will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in English and the local language is preferred.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
