Position Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in performing financial operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and international accounting standards, and maintaining integrity of the general ledger. You will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. This position works closely with the Manager, Accounting and other Senior Accountants to meet department timelines and goals
Here’s What You’ll Do
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the assigned region in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate cross departmentally regarding global compliance, including VAT, sales tax, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Contribute to monthly analysis performed to support financial package reporting.
- Communicate with 3rd party accounting vendors to ensure completeness and accuracy of all Trial Balances.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred
- 3-7 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP and local financial regulations
- Proficiency in large ERP systems (Great Plains, Oracle, Essbase, and Workday)
- Strong analytical, multi-tasking, communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent in Microsoft Office applications including Excel
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Experience in the software or technology industry preferred
