Duration: 3 Months Internship (Post successful completion and overall evaluation, this role converts into a Permanent Job position)

ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated Civil Engineering Freshers (ITI / Diploma Civil) with excellent AutoCAD skills and foundational knowledge of highway and road engineering features. As an Application Engineer Intern, you will bridge the gap between core civil engineering principles and advanced digital tools. You will learn to handle 3D point cloud data and convert them to accurate 2D CAD drawings, while supporting and training clients on India's most popular road and survey design software solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Support & Training: Provide hands-on technical support and product training to clients. This includes rendering support from our office, executing site visits to client corporate offices, or resolving issues directly at infrastructure project sites.
- Software Demonstrations: Conduct detailed live technical software demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting features and workflows.
- Technical Support: Actively assist users in resolving functional workflows in software environments like AutoPlotter and Road Estimator.
- Data Processing: Learn and implement workflows for translating 3D laser scanning/LiDAR point cloud models into crisp, localized 2D CAD drawings.
- Feature Extraction: Understand and digitize road/highway geometries, alignments, cross-sections, and terrain features.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Education: Freshers with an ITI Certificate (Draughtsman Civil) or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- CAD Proficiency: Strong, clean hands-on execution skills in AutoCAD (layers, precise snapping, polylines, scale management).
- Domain Knowledge: Solid theoretical understanding of road/highway infrastructure components (alignments, chains, cross-sections, elevations).
- Software Familiarity: Prior exposure or hands-on basic familiarity with industry-standard packages like AutoPlotter and Road Estimator is highly preferred.
- Communication & Mobility: Strong spoken communication skills to interact with engineers/clients and absolute flexibility to travel across the office and regional construction project sites.
