Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Team Member – Quality (Line Inspection) to perform in-process and line inspection of machined and casting components. The candidate will ensure adherence to engineering drawings, quality standards, and control plans to achieve zero-defect manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and line inspection of machining and casting components.
- Inspect critical dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and casting defects.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicator.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and line clearance.
- Monitor process quality to reduce rejection and rework.
- Identify non-conformities and support CAPA activities.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards, safety, and 5S practices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of machining processes (CNC, VMC, HMC, Turning, Milling, Drilling, Grinding).
- Experience in inspection of machined and casting components.
- Proficiency in GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems and 7 QC Tools.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts******.
