Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Moulding, Fabrication, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product design, tooling support, fabrication drawings, process improvement, and coordination with production teams to ensure high-quality manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and modify mechanical components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and production.
- Work on plastic injection moulding processes, mould development, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare fabrication drawings and supervise fabrication activities.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support new product development and process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and design records.
- Coordinate with vendors for tooling, fabrication, and machine-related requirements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Experience in Plastic Injection Moulding.
- Knowledge of Fabrication processes and sheet metal work.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience
- 2–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or plastic injection moulding industry.
- Experience in mould design, tooling, and production support is preferred.
Salary - 4 lpa to 6lpa
