Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients. The role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical conditions, reporting significant changes promptly.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and ethical standards.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide basic and advanced life support as required.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and continuing education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
- Valid nursing registration/licensure as required by the applicable regulatory authority.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred but fresh graduates may apply where applicable.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
