About the Role
Fieldmaster Engineering Co. is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a mechanical engineering background and an interest in industrial pumps, technical sales, project execution, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Selection and sizing of pumps based on customer applications and operating conditions.
- Preparation of technical offers, quotations, pump datasheets, and compliance statements.
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable pumping solutions.
- Preparation of technical documentation and project-related reports.
- Coordination for supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of pumping systems.
- Visit customer sites for inspections, technical discussions, installation supervision, and after-sales support.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and OEMs.
- Prepare BOQs, tender documents, and official project documentation.
- Follow up with customers and convert enquiries into successful orders.
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Desired Skills
- Mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of centrifugal pumps and pumping systems.
- Understanding of installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel for site visits across Gujarat and nearby regions.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or pump selection software will be an added advantage.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1+ year of experience in pumps, water treatment, industrial equipment, or technical sales will be preferred.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
