We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will not only handle day-to-day accounting operations but also play an important supporting role in ensuring our business stays fully compliant with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive approach to statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory compliances (e.g., GST, TDS, corporate taxes, or local regulatory filings as applicable).
- Assist senior management in keeping up-to-date with changing financial regulations and tax laws.
- Maintain organized audit trails and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and variance analyses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and streamline accounting workflows.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally and Excel).
- Demonstrated knowledge of tax laws and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
