*Education*: B.Com & MBA
*Experience*: fresher to 2 year
*Role Purpose*: Optimise raw material, component & transport costs via vendor development and market price leverage.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- *Purchase*: Locate & negotiate with vendors, develop purchasing policies, prepare POs, maintain records, create annual procurement budget
- *Order Execution*: Ensure procurement within budget, follow-up on wrong supply & manage rectification
- *Process Improvement*: Analyze market for material availability, generate MIS reports, maintain vendor database with rate contracts, develop material planning systems, provide BOM inputs to Engineering, improve rejection cycle time, quarterly supplier meets
*Required Competencies:*
- *Knowledge*: Products/parts, vendor management
- *Skills*: Negotiation, data maintenance & MIS reporting
- *Attitude*: Cost conscious, thorough, attention to detail
